I went to a leader weekend treat this past September and the first night they had many different outdoor crafts that you could do with your troop. My favorite craft was stamping the wood slices and turning them into lanyards. It was such an easy craft to do and it turned out so pretty, I knew I wanted to do this with our troop.
Ornaments were the perfect way to incorporate this into a keepsake they can keep for years to come!!
Materials:

ink pad (assorted colors)
If you don’t didn’t purchase your wood slices pre-drilled you will first want to do this. You can drill them ahead of time or challenge your girls to do it.
Once you have your hole drilled your hole, it’s easy peasy from here on. Stamp your picture in the middle of the wood slice. Fill in the stamp with your markers to add color and a personal touch. On the opposite side, you can have them put their name, troop number and/or date.
